About Us
“Where can I get my own set?”, “What’s that game called?”, “How do you play that game?”, “When is this game going to be for sale?”, “Get your hands off my girlfriend!”. After hearing stuff like this we wanted to give you a little behind the scenes dirt on who we are…
Meet The spikeball team:
Chris
I’m the sucker that got stuck writing these bios. Most of the info is true, I swear… kind of. My Spikeball addiction started about 5 years ago when playing in Kauai with Tim, Pat, and Matt. Anyone would have been hooked- 5 days of empty beaches, sunshine, beers, and some intense competitions…we smoked Tim and Pat. I am more than happy to dominate you on the beach, shoot me a note.
Dave
Fine Scotsman turned redneck, that’s the best way to describe Dave. He hits a few NASCAR races per year, wants to own an RV, lists his favorite food as “ALL” and wishes he was as good as me at Spikeball.
Matt
While he’ll claim to be the best Spikeball player out there, I’ll gladly disagree. I have to – I’m his brother. If you’re looking for Matt, don’t call the office – go to Wrigley- he’s always there. He leapt into stardom as a guest on Howard Stern and almost won at “Win Fred’s Money”.
Tim
Twin brother of Pat (see below). Tim and Pat were the originators of Spikeball in our crew. They have something like 42 siblings and one of them picked up the first set. The rest is Spikeball history. Tim once had a car door stolen. Not the car, just the door.
Pat
The wise counselor. Pat was student body President at Villanova. Yes, I said President. We have royalty among us, show some respect. Pat is the moral leader of the crew. Thank God, if it weren’t for Pat, you’d need to be over 18 and have a credit card to visit this site.
Adam
As you read in our blog (you read it, right?), he’s known as the Beast. Beast hails from Manteno “Small Town Big Future”. Don’t taunt the Beast, he was once in the Manteno street gang called “99 Individuals”.
Biggggy
Is this his real name? Ask him on the beach. Biggggy’s (yes, that’s 4 g’s) in Florida and gets to play year round. Correction, he plays year round except Sundays. Sundays are fer racin’! Yea, another NASCAR fan. I can’t believe we have two NASCAR references in our bio sheet – that’s embarrassing.
